The high quality insect gauze has small openings to restrict insect entry, while still providing great visibility and airflow. Prowler Proof’s automated 7-stage powder coating process means you can select your insect screen in any of our 50 standard colours…with more than 250 further options if your favourite colour is not within our standard range.

Single Door
A single door panel that swings on hinges mounted on the left or right side of the door jamb.
French Doors
A pair of adjoining doors that swing on hinges mounted on opposite sides of the door jamb, opening in the middle.

A’latch
Surface mounted latch that suits either left or right hand opening hinged screen doors. Includes inside snib for easy operation.
Mid Rail
Add a mid rail in situations where you need visibility of the door. The mid rails are colour matched to the frame.

Prowler Proof pet doors come in three standard sizes – small, medium and large, or we can make it any size you like. The fully welded aluminium frame is colour matched to frame.
Prowler Proof Porthole
Ideal for use with awning or casement windows, where you need hand access to the window pane. Available in Insect screens with fibreglass gauze. Plastic opening fixed directly onto fibreglass gauze. The Prowler Proof insect porthole is 87mm high x 177 mm wide. The Prowler Proof porthole is available in black only.
Single Point Lock
If security is not a priority and you only need a barrier door a 1-point lock is available. Available in black.
Solid Panel
The solid panel can be any height you like. Colour matched to frame. The panel is made of 1.6 mm solid aluminium.
Sliding
A window that opens by sliding horizontally.
Double Sliding
A window that has two opening panels that slide horizontally.
Single Hung
One sash in the window frame is operable and moves up and down.
Double Hung
Both sashes in the window frame are operable and move up and down.
Louvre
Composed of parallel blades set in a frame, joined on a track so they tilt open and shut in unison.
Awning
The window pane is hinged at the top and opens from the bottom, swinging upward.
Casement
The window pane is hinged on one side and swings outward.

The cross brace can either be black or colour matched to the frame (Snap in) or colour matched to the frame (welded). The cross brace can be in any position you like.

Welded corners
All Prowler Proof products feature fully welded frame corners. A weld can be stronger than parts joined by a screw or rivet. It looks better too. Bushfire
Bushfire prone zones require that openable windows must be screened with corrosion-resistant steel, bronze or aluminium mesh with an opening of less than 2 mm x 2 mm (AS 3959-2009).
Corrosion
Whenever two different metals interact there is a risk of corrosion. The tests (AS 2331.3.2 and AS 2331.3.1) to show corrosion-resistance are the acetic acid salt spray test and neutral salt spray test.
Insect Protection
The mosquito protection test tests a screens ability to keep mosquitoes out over an extended period of time.
Access Control
Allow unassisted access for pets or people, through the addition of optional access control accessories, such as keying locks alike, pet doors for family pets and solid panels for easier wheelchair accessibility.
